Find your Google tag ID

A Google tag ID is a series of letters and numbers that usually starts with "G-".

To find your Google tag ID , do the following:

  1. In Admin, under Data collection and modification, click Data streams.
Note: The previous link opens to the last Analytics property you accessed. You can change the property using the property selector. You must be an Editor or above at the property level to find your Google tag ID.
  2. Click the name of your data stream.
If you don't see any data streams and see "Choose a platform," you must add a data stream first. Go to Add a data stream.
  3. In the Google tag section at the bottom of the Web stream details page, click Configure tag settings.

  4. In the Your Google tag section on the Google tag page, copy the ID that starts with "G-" or "AW-".
