Where to Find the TCPA Compliance Options
You can access these settings in two places within the Quoteplicity portal:
- Advanced Settings: When creating a widget, go to the Advanced Settings section to customize the TCPA disclaimer display for that specific widget.
- Branding Page (under Settings): You can also set your default TCPA compliance options under the Branding page in Settings. These settings will apply across your widgets unless overridden in the widget-specific settings.
Customization Options
1. Disclaimer Visibility Options
Control how the TCPA disclaimer appears near the "Continue" button on your quote form:
- Field-based (Default): Displays the disclaimer only when required.
- Override - Always Show (Shortened): Shows a shorter version of the disclaimer at all times.
- Override - Always Show (Scrollable): Shows the full disclaimer with a scroll option.
- Override - Always Show (Full): Displays the complete disclaimer without scrolling.
- Override - Never Show: Hides the disclaimer entirely.
2. Disclaimer Checkbox Options
Choose how the disclaimer checkbox is displayed and functions:
- None (Default): No checkbox is displayed.
- Optional: Checkbox is displayed but optional for the customer.
- Required: Checkbox is displayed and must be checked by the customer to proceed.
- Required, Pre-Checked: Checkbox is displayed, required, and pre-checked by default.
